The High Llamas
Cold & Bouncy - 2xLP
“Refund was approved and back in my account the same day.” - Deliver+ customer
Cold & Bouncy captures the High Llamas at the point where their plush songwriting met a stronger electronic pulse. The melodies are still unmistakably Sean O'Hagan, but the album has more bounce, more clipped rhythm and more studio play than the earlier records. The Sun Beats Down and Bouncy Glimmer are obvious entry points, while Painters Paint and End On Tick Tock show how deep the set runs. A rewarding 1998 title and one of the band's key records.TRACKLISTSIDE ONE:1. Twisto Teck2. The Sun Beats Down3. HiBall Nova Scotia4. Tilting WindmillsSIDE TWO:1. Glide Time2. Bouncy Glimmer3.
