Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia) is derived from the flowering tips of the plant, sourced from France. It is extracted using steam distillation. Lavender has a long history of use, particularly in ancient Egypt and Rome, where it was valued for its calming effects in bathing, relaxation, cooking, and as a fragrance. Today, Lavender is known for its relaxing properties, both when used internally and topically. It is commonly applied to the skin to reduce imperfections or used in baths to relieve stress.
