A Way Forward pushes Nation Of Language beyond straightforward synth-pop revival and into something darker, broader and more transportive. The hooks are still there, but the record leans harder into propulsion, texture and atmosphere, giving the songs a bigger emotional reach than the debut. In Manhattan and The Grey Commute land immediately, while Former Self and They're Beckoning show how well the band handle tension and release. A strong second album with real momentum to it.SIDE ONE:1. In Manhattan2. Across That Fine Line3. Wounds Of Love4. Miranda5. The Grey CommuteSIDE TWO:1. This Fractured Mind2. Former Self3.
