The Alocasia Odora is one of the newer variants of the Alocasia. It is a beautiful green houseplant that can get incredibly large leaves. The Alocasia is also called Elephant Ears because of the shape of the leaves. The leaves remain strongly upright, the tips of the leaves point upwards. What makes the Alocasia Odora especially special, is that it can bloom during the warm days and nights. And these flowers have a wonderful smell, which is especially strong during the night. Therefore, the Odora its nickname is also Night-Scented Lily.

The Alocasia Odora is a relatively easy plant to care for. The plant prefers a spot with a lot of sun or semi shade. Furthermore, it likes a wet and rich soil, so water regularly. Be sure to protect the leaves from wind, the Alocasia does not like that. Eventually, the Alocasia Odora can grow up to 250 cm tall! Watch out with pets, because the Alocasia is poisonous.
