Meet the experts....

Natalie Steinborn – Skin Specialist

Introducing Natalie our go-to skincare expert and advocate for mature skin championing skin barrier health as a key element to combat premature signs of ageing focusing on products for all ages and budgets.

Natalie’s number one beauty tip:

Without a doubt, the hydration sandwich technique. This is a layering technique that instantly hydrates & plumps the skin whilst, when used consistently, improves skin health, reduces fine lines & wrinkles & gives the skin a beautiful lit from within glow. Immediately after cleansing, apply a hydrating mist & whilst the skin is still damp, apply a hydrating serum. It’s simple yet incredibly effective. Try it. You can thank me later!

Natalie’s desert island beauty must-have

The Elizabeth Arden Prevage City Smart SPF. Nothing is going to keep your skin looking healthy & youthful like daily SPF can. The Prevage SPF is by far the best I have used. (And I’ve used a lot!) it keeps my skin hydrated, protected (with the inclusion of antioxidants too) moisturised. It just makes my skin look better. So much so, I cannot live without it. (I’ve got back ups sat in my bathroom cabinet).

Bryony Blake – Makeup Expert

Introducing Bryony, Celebrity makeup artist and presenter on ITV This Morning, Bryony has earned her stripes working with the most renowned, international makeup brands.

Bryony’s Beauty Secrets

When it comes to foundation, always try to match your skin tone exactly by checking the colour on your jawline or your forehead. The shade that disappears will be the perfect shade for you.

If you’re unsure about eyeshadow, why not try a smudgy liner instead? This way you can try out different colours and not have to worry too much about technique.

Remember to have fun with make up and try out new things. At the end of the day you can wipe it off and start again! So be brave!

Ricky Walters – Hair Specialist & Founder of Salon 64

Trained by industry icons Daniel Galvin and John Frieda, he is an incredibly talented hair-care specialist with years of experience working with celebrities such as Jodie Kidd, Sandra Bullock and Laura Whitmore. Ricky has recently launched his hair-care range of shampoos and conditioners exclusively available at Debenhams.

Ricky’s number one haircare tip:

My number one hair care tip is minimising heat exposure to maintain healthy locks. One key strategy is to embrace the power of product and heatless curling methods. Twisting, wrapping and setting hair when wet and allowing to dry over night can give you beachy waves without the headache.

If you can’t give up the hairdryer another essential practice is "slow cooking" the hair by using a low speed when rough drying, reducing the risk of heat damage while still achieving the desired style. Additionally, regular trims play a crucial role in preserving hair health, as they remove split ends and damaged strands—remembering that the hair at the ends has been with you for years, making it prone to wear and tear.

Ricky’s desert island beauty must-have

My must-have hair product would undoubtedly be SALON64's Liquid Gold Shampoo and Conditioner. These miraculous formulas, cherished by both myself and my clients, are an absolute game-changer. Their unique blends goes beyond mere cleansing and detangling, wrapping each cuticle with an illuminous touch of real gold, adding its light and protective qualities.

The transformative effects of the gold range are simply unparalleled; once you experience how your hair looks and feels, you'll find yourself irresistibly hooked. Once you go gold, you simply can't go back!"
