The Ficus Binnendijkii Alii is a strong, air-purifying plant that is easy to maintain. It not only converts CO₂ into oxygen but also filters harmful substances from the air and improves humidity levels. This ficus is a beautiful addition to any office or living room. Originally from Africa, the Ficus Binnendijkii Alii, also known as the Weeping Fig, has a lush, full growth with long, narrow leaves that hang gracefully down.
Ficus Alii is a very easy houseplant. Ficus likes a light spot, but not direct sunlight. So do not put the plant too close to the window. Ficus also prefers a temperature of at least 15 degrees. It is advisable to remove the leaves from time to time to stimulate growth, as they can collect a lot of dust. Water Ficus Binnendijckii Alii about once or twice a week. Let the soil dry well between waterings and in winter the plant needs less water. Between March and September, the ficus wants some regular plant food. In a spacious pot, Ficus can eventually grow up to 2 metres tall! Be careful though, as Ficus is toxic to children and animals.
