Philodendron 'White Wave' originally comes from the rain forests of South America. This special houseplant is an eye-catcher in every room because of the striking white stripes on its leaves. When the Philodendron grows new leaves, they are always plain green at first. The stripes on the leaves appear later. The older the plant gets, the more stripes it gets on its leaves. A really cool sight!

Philodendron White Wave is easy to care for. It prefers a light spot without direct sunlight and a slightly moist potting soil. Philodendron prefers to be given a little water, instead of a lot of water each time. Misting the foliage daily with a fine spray will also help to improve humidity. The White Wave is a slow grower, so do not worry when there are few new leaves. The plant requires sufficient light and does not like to be moved. A bright to lightly shaded position, well away from direct sunlight is ideal. Avoid positioning this plant close to cold draughts and radiators.
