The Philodendron is a striking houseplant and this is mainly due to the beautiful, sturdy leaves. Originally this plant comes from the tropical regions of Central and South America and there are hundreds of species available. The plant grows against it and it also looks beautiful! Despite the fact that the Philodendron is a tropical plant, it does very well in the living room. It also feels wonderful in a somewhat darker spot in the house, which is nice!
A Philodendron does not need too much water, keep the soil moist but not wet. Always give a little water. Feel the soil with a finger every now and then to make sure it is not too wet. If you give too much water, the leaves will turn yellow, adjust the amount of water. The Philodendron thrives best at a temperature of 16 to 18°C.
