Lucky Bamboo is not really bamboo, it is actually stems from the Dracaena Sanderiana of the lily family. The Lucky Bamboo has a long history in China and the Far East with a strong connection to Feng Shui. According to Feng Shui teachings, Lucky Bamboo brings positive energy into any room. In Asia, people buy Lucky Bamboo for the New Year, to celebrate an opening or simply for positivity and happiness. Lucky Bamboo is very durable, all they need is water and it will last a long time.

Lucky bamboo is usually sold in just water, but it naturally grows in the ground. The water in which Lucky Bamboo is kept should be refreshed every 2 weeks. It is often described as a houseplant that needs little light. The stems do best in rooms with low to medium light conditions. Be sure to keep it out of direct sun to avoid burning leaves. It is important that the temperature in the room remains between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius, but Lucky Bamboo doesn't mind it a little warmer. Please note: Lucky Bamboo is poisonous to pets and should be kept out of their reach.
