The Asplenium Crispy Wave has hard, wavy leaves and is lighter in colour than most ferns. This fern originates from the forests of Japan and Taiwan where it grows on tree branches and rocks. This fern is also an air-purifying plant that serves as a natural air-freshener at the same time. The ferns neutralise harmful substances by absorbing them and breaking them down in the roots. The fern converts CO2 into oxygen and improves air humidity through its regulating evaporation process. All this reduces complaints such as headaches and dry skin.

Ferns need a lot of light but cannot stand the direct sun. A temperature from 15 °C is fine for ferns. It is important to keep the soil constantly lightly moist. The amount of water depends on the humidity and the amount of light, so start with small amounts of water per watering. Be careful not to water the heart of the plant. Ferns like to be sprayed with a plant sprayer.
