The English Beat
Wha'ppen? - Limited Edition Gold Vinyl LP
“Refund was approved and back in my account the same day.” - Deliver+ customer
Wha'ppen? catches The English Beat opening their sound up in 1981, pulling ska, pop, reggae rhythms and post-punk sharpness into something looser and more adventurous than a straight sequel. The songs still move quickly, but there is more room for texture in 'Doors Of Your Heart', 'Drowning' and 'Dream Home In NZ', with 'Get-A-Job' and 'Cheated' keeping the bounce intact. This remastered edition is a strong way back into one of the key Beat records.SIDE ONE:1. Doors Of Your Heart2. All Out To Get You3. Monkey Murders4. I Am Your Flag5. French Toast (Soleil Trop Chaud)6. DrowningSIDE TWO:1. Dream Home In NZ2. Walk Away3. Over & Over4. Cheated5. Get-A-Job6. The Limits We Set
