Scandinavian Art Ensemble With Tomasz Stanko
The Copenhagen Session Vol 1 - Vinyl LP
“Refund was approved and back in my account the same day.” - Deliver+ customer
Drawn from a 2016 Copenhagen session, this set captures Tomasz Stanko in a later, open-eared setting, trading lines with a younger ensemble instead of simply dominating the room. The writing moves from the swing of One O'Clock Jump to the spacious pull of Dark Eyes Of Martha Hirsch, giving the album a roomy, conversational feel throughout. A strong addition to the late Stanko story and a rewarding modern jazz LP in its own right.TRACKLISTSIDE ONE:1. One O'Clock Jump2. Before The Rain3. CirclesSIDE TWO:1. Dark Eyes Of Martha Hirsch2.
